The Wedding of Euan & Nevada Blue 20th march 2022 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Queensferry | The Dirty Martinis

Real Weddings

Euan and Nevada Blue’s wedding day was a beautiful event. The evening reception took place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh – Queensferry Crossing. On 20th March 2022.

Nevada the bride, looked stunning in her white dress, and Euan the groom looked very dapper in his traditional Scottish kilt outfit. The couple chose a handfasting ceremony.

Hand-fasting is a symbolic unity ritual in which a couple stand face to face as their hands are tied together – hence the phrase, tying the knot!. As your hands are bound, you can recite words that express your commitment to one another.

As night began to fall, the party moved inside and continued with lots more energy. Friends and family laughed and danced late into the night, enjoying every minute of this very special wedding celebration.

For their first dance, the band played Kodaline’s ‘The One’ and as a special request played Skerryvore’s’ Take My Hand’.

As well as the great music performed by The Dirty Martinis, one of the highlights of the wedding was the delicious food. The catering team had outdone themselves with a selection of mouth-watering dishes, and there was something to please everyone’s taste.
