The Wedding of Jodie & Chris Algeo at The Richmond Park Hotel on the 12th March 2022 | The Dirty Martinis

Real Weddings

Jodie & Chris booked us to provide entertainment for their evening wedding guests.

The couple held their ceremony the week before and booked us to play at their evening reception. Jodie enjoyed The Dirty Martinis performing at a friend’s wedding and booked us. Check blog post.

Groom Chris is a huge Oasis fan and requested ‘Whatever’ to be played. The first dance was a special version of the Oasis classic ‘slide-away.

Later on, The Dirty Martinis performed an Oasis medley including ‘Don’t look back in anger and ‘She’s electric’. Everyone was either, on the dance floor or at tables singing along.

Venue

The Richmond Park Hotel is without question one of the best venues for bands to get set up in. Richmond Park Hotel is centrally located in the quiet coastal town of Bo’ness on the Firth of Forth, just a 20-minute drive from Edinburgh.

Local attractions include the world-famous Kelpies, the Falkirk Wheel, Bo’ness & Kinneil Railway, Linlithgow Palace & Loch and the Bo’ness Motor Museum.

Easy access, plenty of power, excellent coffee and a good space. Add to that the awesome staff and you have a recipe for success.

Easily one of our favourite venues.

All credit for the awesome party atmosphere lies firmly at the feet of the magnificent wedding guests. They were well and truly out to enjoy themselves and danced their wee cotton socks off all night doing themselves and the newlyweds proud.

What a sendoff this was and a night that won’t be forgotten any time soon. The happy couple themselves were amazing. Super nice, friendly and welcoming, they made sure that we were well looked after for and wanted for nothing and for that we cannot thank you enough.

We wish them both a long, happy and successful future and all of the good stuff that life offers.

Thanks for having us along!!!
All the best from the band.
5/5
